vinagre is the front-end gui for vnc. It's a free remote viewer. You
need real IPs for using VNC. So you can access your computers in LAN
which I do use everyday between my Mac and Ubuntu. For windows, you
need to install a VNC server/viewer. I recommend TightVNC for that.

But if you want to access your PC anywhere without real IP. You need
Hamachi. Follow shiplu's link.
