Please backport libsmbios 2.4.0-1 (main) from bionic-proposed to trusty,
xenial.

Reason for the backport:
========================
Many platforms have adopted SMBIOS 3.0 tables and can't work properly with the functionality
in current version of libsmbios.

libsmbios also has some memory leaks that are exercised in error
scenarios as a result.

You can test-build the backport in your PPA with backportpackage:

For reverse-dependencies, please test that the version of the package currently in the release still works with the new libsmbios installed.
