Public bug reported:
Please backport rkhunter 1.4.2-0.4 (universe) from vivid to utopic.
Reason for the backport:
========================
As described https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rkhunter/+bug/1303564 rkhunter have removed the i18n file from sourceforge so every single day rkhunter reports the system has been compromised because it can't update this file. The upstream solution is to update to 1.4.2 but we have production 12.04 LTS systems where this is not an option.
Testing:
========
Mark off items in the checklist [X] as you test them, but please leave the checklist so that backporters can quickly evaluate the state of testing.
You can test-build the backport in your PPA with backportpackage:
$ backportpackage -u ppa:<lp username>/<ppa name> -s vivid -d utopic rkhunter
* utopic:
[ ] Package builds without modification
[ ] rkhunter installs cleanly and runs
Reverse dependencies:
=====================
The following reverse-dependencies need to be tested against the new version of rkhunter. For reverse-build-dependencies (-Indep), please test that the package still builds against the new rkhunter. For reverse-dependencies, please test that the version of the package currently in the release still works with the new rkhunter installed. Reverse- Recommends, Suggests, and Enhances don't need to be tested, and are listed for completeness-sake.
