Please backport wesnoth-1.12 1:1.12.0-1 (universe) from vivid to utopic
and trusty.

Reason for the backport:
========================
Wesnoth 1.12 is the new stable branch of Battle for Wesnoth, and to be able to play with others that use a version from the 1.12 series, one also needs a package from that series.  There have been user requests already waiting for it. :)

========
Mark off items in the checklist [X] as you test them, but please leave the checklist so that backporters can quickly evaluate the state of testing.

You can test-build the backport in your PPA with backportpackage:
$ backportpackage -u ppa:<lp username>/<ppa name> -s vivid -d utopic wesnoth-1.12
$ backportpackage -u ppa:<lp username>/<ppa name> -s vivid -d trusty wesnoth-1.12
 (I tried that, got a reject mail "PPA uploads must be for the RELEASE pocket." - so I just built locally)

built hte package so far and installed it inside a chroot.  It would be
nice if someone who wants to actually use the backport themself on
trusty or utopic
