Public bug reported:

Please backport fuse-exfat 1.0.1-1 (universe) from trusty to precise,
quantal.

Reason for the backport:
========================
exFAT filesystems are becoming fairly common. As the LTS will still supported for some time, it would be nice if it could support this filesystem, similar to the rationale for backporting hardware support.

Testing:
========
Built in ppa:rtandy/exfat. Mounted an exFAT filesystem created on Windows 7 and tested creating, modifying, and deleting files. Afterwards, back on Windows, verified with chkdsk.exe that the filesystem was still sane. Repeated the same on precise and quantal.

* precise:
[✓] Package builds without modification
[✓] exfat-fuse installs cleanly and runs
* quantal:
[✓] Package builds without modification
[✓] exfat-fuse installs cleanly and runs

Reverse dependencies:
=====================

exfat-fuse
----------
* exfat-utils
  [✓] quantal (Reverse-Recommends)
  - verified that exfat-fuse from quantal still works normally after installing the backported exfat-utils

** Affects: precise-backports
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New

** Affects: quantal-backports
