I believe I am having the same bug issue on 12.10 AMD64 3.5.0-26-generic
lspci attached

running i7 CPU with nvidia graphics card and drivers system freezes
intermittently; hope it is possible to backport big fix for 12.10 AMD64

If you require particular logs please advise which and will gladly
provide.
