Public bug reported:

Please backport mosh 1.2.4a-1 (universe) from raring to precise,
quantal.

Reason for the backport:
========================
Newer versions of mosh bring many nice new features without
breaking protocol compatibility or buildability. Precise
already had a backport from Quantal, this would just refresh
things so P and Q had a backport from R instead.

Testing:
========
Mark off items in the checklist [X] as you test them, but please leave the checklist so that backporters can quickly evaluate the state of testing.

You can test-build the backport in your PPA with backportpackage:
$ backportpackage -u ppa:<lp username>/<ppa name> -s raring -d precise mosh
$ backportpackage -u ppa:<lp username>/<ppa name> -s raring -d quantal mosh

* precise:
[x] Package builds without modification
[x] mosh installs cleanly and runs
* quantal:
[x] Package builds without modification
[x] mosh installs cleanly and runs

No reverse dependencies
