Public bug reported:

Please backport mongodb 1:2.2.4-0ubuntu1 (universe) from raring to
quantal and precise.

Reason for the backport:
========================

2.2.4 provides several important updates over 2.0.x as found in 12.04
and 12.10. This includes support for SSL connections.

Testing:
========

* quantal:
[ ] Package builds without modification
[ ] mongodb-server installs cleanly and runs
[ ] mongodb installs cleanly and runs
[ ] mongodb-clients installs cleanly and runs
[ ] mongodb-dev installs cleanly and runs

* precise:
[ ] Package builds without modification
[ ] mongodb-server installs cleanly and runs
[ ] mongodb installs cleanly and runs
[ ] mongodb-clients installs cleanly and runs
[ ] mongodb-dev installs cleanly and runs

Reverse dependencies:
=====================

  [ ] precise (Reverse-Suggests)

  Testing:
  ========
  Mark off items in the checklist [X] as you test them, but please leave the checklist so that backporters can quickly evaluate the state of testing.

  You can test-build the backport in your PPA with backportpackage:
  $ backportpackage -u ppa:<lp username>/<ppa name> -s raring -d quantal mongodb

  * quantal:
  [ ] Package builds without modification
  [ ] mongodb-server installs cleanly and runs
  [ ] mongodb installs cleanly and runs

  * precise:

  [ ] mongodb-clients installs cleanly and runs
  [ ] mongodb-dev installs cleanly and runs

  Reverse dependencies:
  =====================
  The following reverse-dependencies need to be tested against the new version of mongodb. For reverse-build-dependencies (-Indep), please test that the package still builds against the new mongodb. For reverse-dependencies, please test that the version of the package currently in the release still works with the new mongodb installed. Reverse- Recommends, Suggests, and Enhances don't need to be tested, and are listed for completeness-sake.
