I have this output:

$ gnome-system-monitor 
**
ERROR:proctable.cpp:134:void proctable_set_columns_order(GtkTreeView*, GSList*): assertion failed: (id >= 0 && id < NUM_COLUMNS)

When issuing sudo gnome-system-monitor, it works ok.

Linux 3.0.0-17-generic #30-Ubuntu i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux
