I've adjusted this bug slightly to account for policies in the backports
process.

In order to ensure a valid upgrade path, we'll need to backport to both
lucid and maverick.

I've also uploaded test backports of unscd to both lucid and maverick to
my PPA (https://launchpad.net/~broder/+archive/backports-tests). Please
verify that the packages build, install, and run on both releases.

Once you've done this, you can mark this bug as "Confirmed" to indicate
that you've finished testing.
