[Bug 797961] [NEW] Please Backport Open vSwitch to maverick

Hello,

Open vSwitch (and open source virtual switch for linux:
http://www.openvswitch.org) has been packaged for Natty, but it would be
great if it could be backported for Maverick (and even Lucid).

My main motivation for this is Open vSwitch is currently the only
supported vswitch for the OpenStack network service called Quantum (see:
https://launchpad.net/quantum).  Many people using + developing on
OpenStack have not switched to Natty yet, so they have to build Open
vSwitch from source on Maverick and Lucid.  It would be fantastic to get
it packaged for those platforms so more people could use it with
OpenStack Quantum.
