Christian: Are you sure you're installing the version from backports?
Starting in Natty, we changed the default backports configuration such
that enabling backports doesn't automatically result in getting all
packages from backports. You can see
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuBackports#Installing_Backports
for instructions on how to explicitly request a backported package.
