[Bug 574164] [NEW] Please backport marble to Xubuntu 8.04 LTS

Public bug reported:

Can you please backport the packet "marble" (generic geographical map
widget) from current version 0.4.x to the recent 0.6.1? We have demand
for that scientific application. This would be a great benefit to the
Ubuntu community as well since it's a free alternative to other similar
applications.
