You will have backports setup that is why it is offering that version.

The 2.5.2-0ubuntu1.2~hardy1 is a backport from Intrepid. The version
that should be backported to hardy is the package from Intrepid once the
package with the patch for yahoo authentication has been cleared and
released as a Stable Release Update (SRU). See comments #123 and #124 on
this bug for futher info.
