Alessandro, if you want to add a new package to Ubuntu, see
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuDevelopment/NewPackages. Backports are not
about that.

Instead of introducing a new package, you may be better off adding your
script to the software-properties package, so I'm reassigning this bug.
