[Bug 372642] [NEW] Please backport apparmor 2.3 to hardy

Public bug reported:

I'm not sure if apparmor presents serious challenges but version 2.3
adds a lot of nice features that would valuable to for systems running
8.04.  As an administrator overseeing multiple Ubuntu releases it would
also be nice to deploy 1 set of apparmor configurations and since 8.10
and 9.04 both use apparmor 2.3 getting hardy to use it as well would
simplify things.  A list of the changes in apparmor 2.3 can be found
