[Bug 399883] [NEW] sc1200 ide controller not supported in intrepid

Public bug reported:

Bug #395579 has been marked as fix-released (in jaunty).

The problem is that not backporting this fix to intrepid hampers the
upgrade from hardy (via intrepid) to jaunty on systems that have the
sc1200 as their disk controller.

Whereas a workaround for this problem exists (namely to execute the
upgrade from intrepid to jaunty while running the hardy kernel), I
wanted to explicitly ask the intrepid-backports team to take a view on
this.
