Public bug reported:
GLPI is a web-based IT Assett Management application.
GLPI 0.72 includes significant changes to how software applications are
inventoried.
I evaluated both the existing 0.71 and the new 0.72 and feel that -for a
new deployment- it does not make sense to setup 0.71 now and migrate the
data and workflow to 0.72 at a later date.
The upgrade to 0.72 goes smoothly using a deb downloaded from Debian
Testing. No additional packages needed to be installed or upgraded. It
does, however, appear that 0.72 uses more memory then 0.71. Some pages
come up blank. I fixed this on the test system by increasing the memory
limit in the php.ini file.
