Hew - I just noticed that you closed the hardy-backports task on this
one and opened a pidgin task instead. In this case, it was valid against
hardy-backports because the bug is reported against the backported
version of Pidgin. Bugs against backported packages should be opened
against the relevant *-backports project, instead of the normal Ubuntu
source package.
