1) These are the libs (API) for FreeBob.
I thought there is a program in the FreeBob set that handles the connections , that isn't a "lib" and would need to be compiled to make a binary.

2) If the files exist in Gutsy, then can a backport now be requested for
Feisty (and earlier)?
