Public bug reported:
I'm not sure I should be filing this here as in my opinion it should go
in the main repositories but here goes:
I've been investigating a problem we have here and eventually found out
the postgresql 8.3 branch has a major bug with GiST indexes that makes
notably postgis everything but usable:
http://www.postgresql.org/docs/8.3/static/release-8-3-5.html
http://blog.cleverelephant.ca/2008/11/postgresql-835-important-upgrade.html
hardy: 8.3.1...
intrepid: 8.3.4...
jaunty: 8.3.5...
This package is already available in jaunty.
hardy being a long-term release I would like this version to be backported to it...
Thanks !
