[Bug 294515] [NEW] multimedia keys stopped working after 4.1.3update

Public bug reported:

After upgrading to kde 4.1.3 from backports my laptop's multimedia keys
stopped working. I use hp compaq 6910p laptop.

I tried running xev and pressed the keys but nothing happened.
I also tried downgrading kmix to intrepid version but it still didn't work.
