support cycle...

Ok, found it.

"This is the first maintenance release of Ubuntu 6.06 LTS, which
continues to be supported with maintenance updates and security fixes
until June 2009 (on desktops) and June 2011 (on servers)."

I think this qualifies as a maintenance release, considering every other
platform that I am aware of has upgraded to a version that's no longer
compatible with the one dapper is using, and I'm fairly certain that
2011 hasn't arrived yet. <grin>
