I have been running gPodder 0.11.3 from Intrepid in Hardy for a couple of weeks now without any issue. It installs and runs perfectly.
Version 0.12 was released a couple of days ago and I recently upgraded to it. There is already a Debian Sid package, which I'm testing, that installs and runs fine. See http://packages.debian.org/sid/gpodder.
I don't know if it could be included in Intrepid or if this is the place to ask for it.
Version 0.12 feels much faster due to a database migration to SQLite so it might be the case that it is backwards incompatible.
Since I'm testing it I could report any issues but I haven't run into any at all.
Please consider this package. There are some nice performance and user interface improvements going on as well as updated translations.
I'm attaching a screenshot ;-)
