This sounds like this should be fixed against the proper hardy version,
as it sounds like a fairly large bug. In addition, library backports are
to be avoided if possible. Please file a bug against libqwt-qt4 and
subscribe SRU. If they don't wish to fix in hardy, then we'll consider a
backport.
