[Bug 80923] Please backport silky 0.5.4 to edgy

Public bug reported:

Silky as currently packaged in universe (0.5.2) contains a critical bug
which renders it unusable, namely that there are no events attached to
the GUI widgets, so nothing works. 0.5.4 has been out for over a year
(unfortunately development seems to have stalled), so backporting
shouldn't be difficult.
