I also run it, and once you run 
prevu libsdl-pango-dev
apt-get update
then prevu frozen-bubble will work.

And if I get it right, then frozen-bubble libsdl-pango-dev has the same
version then in edgy, at least from the mentioned link in the original
post FB installed without any problems.

So, I don't know if this problem comes from prevu's limitations or is
really a reason to reject the backport.
