Both synfig (http://packages.ubuntu.com/feisty/source/synfig) and
synfigstudio (http://packages.ubuntu.com/feisty/source/synfigstudio)
builds in prevu.

While testing the builds I did not experience any of the problems
mentioned in the thread linked in the request regarding missing icons.
