Hi Aaron,

The restart works OK - I have had hplip 1.6.6 running on my system for
several weeks. In originally referring to script glitches, I was
pointing out that installation does not go smoothly, not that
installation fails.

If a managed package is available (deb or rpm), it will greatly ease the
installation for most people. Script glitches - even harmless ones - can
be unnerving.
