I really don't care here which gets marked a duplicate of what, as long
as in the end there are no more duplicates.

As far as an Ekiga backport, there are reported instabilities with Edgy
ekiga, and to me the Dapper ekiga works well enough. It's a prominent
(and advertised) part of the Dapper desktop, so specific bug fixes
should be done through the dapper-updates channel


As a result, this backport request will be rejected.
