Sorry for the confusion; I was justifying to the higher powers why a
bugfix update is being handled through edgy-backports  rather than the
preferred edgy-updates channel. This package looks good for backporting
to me, I'm gonna let it still sit for a while more to make sure no
further defects are found in the backport, at which time I'll approve
it.
