There is a new stable 0.88.6 release of ClamAV as of Sunday 05 November 2006 
please backport to Dapper. Release notes found here:

A search through /var/log/dpkg.log* does not show an update applied to clamav 
on our Dapper mail server in our bi-weekly run of "apt-get update && apt-get 
upgrade" updates in the month since November 1st.
