Ogra -- there is nothing in Backports that can be causing this, official or
unofficial.
Hoary Backports system:
root at darkwarp:/# apt-cache policy k3b
k3b:
Installed: (none)
Candidate: 0.11.24-0ubuntu1~5.04ubp2
Version table:
0.11.24-0ubuntu1~5.04ubp2 0
500 http://ubuntu-backports.mirrormax.net hoary-backports/main Packages
0.11.23-0ubuntu3 0
500 http://archive.ubuntu.com hoary/main Packages
Hoary Backports system with Breezy sources freshly added:
root at darkwarp:/# apt-cache policy k3b
k3b:
Installed: (none)
Candidate: 0.12.2-0ubuntu2
Version table:
0.12.2-0ubuntu2 0
500 http://archive.ubuntu.com breezy/main Packages
0.11.24-0ubuntu1~5.04ubp2 0
500 http://ubuntu-backports.mirrormax.net hoary-backports/main Packages
0.11.23-0ubuntu3 0
500 http://archive.ubuntu.com hoary/main Packages
Both carry through properly.
My guess is another 3rd party repository or something of that nature -- I
can see nothing from my end that'd cause this.
