Hi David,<div> </div><div>Looking at the ifconfig output there, it appears your wife isn't getting an IP address assigned to her computer, first i would check her connection settings, to do this head to the upper right corner of the desktop and you will see all those icons in the panel, hover your mouse over each one until you get a tooltip that says something like 'Wired connection 'eth0' active'. Right click on that icon and select Edit Connections, then select eth0 (or whichever one she normally connects with) and hit the edit button. Then just go through and make sure she has the same setting's as you do.
