Thanks all.<br><br>I removed the acroread package and reinstalled it...worked fine.<br><br>@Dave - I do use evince, and think everyone should.  The main reason that I use acroread is for the browser plugin.  Centrelink and my Bank use PHP generated PDF files.  You can&#39;t download these things (I don&#39;t know how anyway).  The only way I&#39;ve been able to open such documents is with the acroread browser plugin.<br>
