<div dir="ltr">Hi there ,<br><br>I wished to switched from windows XP&nbsp; to a linux OS.<br>After some googleing , people said ubuntu is the most popular.<br><br>the Ubuntu 8.04 LTS Desktop Edition OS is just one disc.<br>while many others , like Fedora , has 5 to 6 discs.<br>
<br><br>my question is does this one single disc contain all the things i need <br>&nbsp;for the installation ? <br><br>i need the normal stuffs like a browser , email , network connection <br>read MS Words , Excel , etc&nbsp; and PDF files.  <br>
