Hey James.
Could be because the item's are not 'Locked To Panel', or beacuse when they were locked to panel the panel size was larger than the current screen size.
First thing to try would be unlock, then lock both items again. Logout and back in see if it made any difference.
You can lock items by right clicking on them and making sure 'Lock To Panel' is checked.
You can move items by 'Middle Dragging' them (holding down the middle button (often scroll wheel) and dragging the item). You cannot move items when they are Locked you have to unlock them first.

Hi Guys

Tis no biggy but on one of my Ubuntu machines I've been noting that some of
the icons keep trading places at the next boot, i.e. clock and power button
specifically. Is there a way to get them to remain in the same place as they
do on the other 2 pc's?

James

--
ubuntu-au mailing list
ubuntu-au@lists.ubuntu.com
