I just bought my parents a HP OfficeJet(?) C3180 $119 from kmart. The printer is connected to a windows machine though. Their ubuntu machine only prints to it through cups->samba. It was far quicker to setup the printer in linux than windows, but I havnt tested the scanner to see if it works with ubuntu.
<br>If the scanner works i'd rate it a 9/10. Nice tidy quick compact unit.<br><br>-Karlos<br><br><div><span class="gmail_quote">On 5/31/07, <b class="gmail_sendername">Todd</b> <<a href="mailto:todd@netowl.net">todd@netowl.net

noted that Ubuntu Feisty seems to have a problem with the scanner.<br><br>Thanks<br>Todd<br>--<br><br> A new era in computing has begun....Ubuntu: <a href="http://www.ubuntu.com">www.ubuntu.com</a><br><<a href="http://www.ubuntu.com">
