As discussed on the ubuntu-au list, the various English translators are duplicating a lot of work due to the similarity of the languages/dialects.  It would be better if translators worked in a more cooperative way.  Given the current launchpad platform, the best way to avoid duplication of work is for us to submit our translations directly to en_GB.  We can then take the en_GB translations and import into en_AU (possibly with minor modifications).
