Brisbane Ubuntu Festival

Good evening all,

Now that we've decided a date, time and place for the Brisbane Ubuntu
Festival [0] we need to start organising the day. To this end I've set
up a wiki page here [1] for us to start collaborating on. First things
first, I think we need to work on a promotional flyer for the day. We
need to advertise the event prior or it won't get enough people
attending. Ideally we'd like something that can scale from A5 up to as
high as possible (maybe A1 or A0 for posters at the event?) but if we
have to have a couple of different versions that would be fine a well.
I would suggest looking at our current posters at [2] and take some
inspiration or ideas from spreadubuntu [3]. As always please be aware
of the Ubuntu Branding Guidelines [4] to make sure you're representing
Ubuntu in the correct manner.

If you want to share them with the team (and the world?) please upload
them to either the wiki or the spread ubuntu site itself. Please
indicate what sort of license they are being released under, if you're
not of a strong opinion I'd suggest the default wiki license of
CC-BY-SA 3.0. Some helpful reading on the issue of licensing is
available here [5] if you're interested or not sure.

You don't have to be attending the event or even living in Brisbane
(or Australia!) to contribute. Lets get your creative juices flowing
and feel free to ask any and all questions on the topic.
