Ben,
I appreciate your enthusiasm but in this case I don't feel the team really
needs a blog. Looking at our team website [0] you will notice that no one
has submitted any content in over 2 months. We also have the team planet [1]
as mentioned as well to cover the more off topic type of information
presented by the team.
If everyone can please remember ANYONE can create content on the website,
this is not limited to anyone other than those with an account they've
created on the website itself. Any content created on the website will
require that one of the team website administrators (contact details
available on the team contact us page [2]) to make sure that no spam gets
through and as a final proof read of the content (let's face it, we all make
typo's every now and then). Feel free to contact any of the team website
administrators when you have created content just to make sure it's
moderated as quickly as possible and as always if you have any questions
about anything team related, just ask.
As for getting your blog on the Ubuntu-AU Planet please just email me the
following information:
- a link to the main page
- a link to the feed you want added
- the name you want it added as
- if you have a small picture you would like associated with your account
please email that to me as well.
Upon receipt of all this information and a quick check to make sure that the
content meets the planet guidelines [3] I can then submit a request to
Canonical to have it updated.
