Hi Tom, it seems that the development packages (-dev) are broken in some way
Have a look at the text files that should have come with source files to see if
there's some information on how to proceed.
Failing that, try searching the DXX-Rebirth forums and see if there's any
information there: http://www.dxx-rebirth.com/frm/index.php
