11.04

Hi,

I've been using Unity/Ubuntu 11.04 as a dual boot with Windows 7 for about
3 weeks now (since it's successfully booted/installed on my machine). I'm
loving Unity, however it did take some getting used to and will still take
some time to become a ninja at all the keyboard shortcuts. I'm now using
multiple desktops, since most of my application use is full-screen using
the global menu. I'm finding that I don't really need to use the File Edit
View menus as much any more so I enjoy that they're only visible when you
need them.

Even simple stuff like the notification area, how you can actually slide
between all applets/indicators without the calendar stopping the movement.

The only downside is the machine I'm running it on. It has the specs and
is smoothly running Unity but I'm guessing that the graphics (ATI) are
stopping X from starting on about 50% of boot ups. Bit of a pain but at
the same time I can get to a console but just haven't been able to file a
bug since I wouldn't have a clue on what to report on.

It's almost like a "if I get into Unity/X, I'll enjoy today's computing
experience". It's only this annoying bug that's hindering me using it
more.
