Problems after last kernel update

Hi there,

yesterday my system updated the kernel to version 2.6.32-22-generic-pae

Ever since then the Virtualbox driver won't load and cups won't start on
boot up. I realise that I can start them from the command line each
time, but that is a pain.

Has this happened to anyone else and is there an easy fix?
