As I responded in the other list, there is a fatal flaw in this 
advertisement: it does not have a disclaimer/warning that some hardware 
may not work with Ubuntu (or any Linux distro for that matter) and so it 
is giving people the very wrong impression. While Ubuntu may work well 
on Dell, and every other make, what other hardware is attached to that 
Dell (or other make) may not work - for example, most Canon printers and 
scanners etc.
