This question is raised every now and then, and our answer is that we
don't want to fragment our already small community by spreading it
over multiple communications media.

E-mail is a very flexible medium, and this can be interacted with in
several different ways. See

Using a facility such as Google Groups can do a lot to bring a
forum-like atmosphere to your list experience.
