No problems. The Windows profiles can be a bit tricky to find if you don't know
where to hunt.
For anyone trying to follow this and getting lost, the Thunderbird FAQ again
comes to the rescue:
http://www.mozilla.org/support/thunderbird/profile#locate
That lists Thunderbird profile locations for Linux (and typically the UNIX and
BSD flavours), Windows, and MacOSX.
Thunderbird is still my favourite mail program. Remember too it has tonnes of
addons to extend its functionality. Three "must haves" for me are:
1) Australian English dictionary (Yes, I spell it "colour"!):
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/3099
2) Mozilla Lightning Calendar (talks to local/iCal/WebDAV/ftp/http/gmail calendars):
http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/lightning/
3) Enigmail (PGP makes email trustworthy again):
http://enigmail.mozdev.org/home/index.php
2+3 can be installed in Ubuntu via the "lightning-extension" and "enigmail"
packages available via the built in package manager.
