Hello group,

I hate to be a nuisance, but I am back again with a change of nick and email
address.

My name is Trevor, and I am a 69 year old male living in Armadale, Western
Australia.

My old IRC nick was Unicorn1940 and my old email address was
unicorn1940 at yahoo.com.au

My new IRC nick is Quarterstaff and my new email address is
Quarterstaff at y7mail.com

The reason I am back is I just built a new computer and only just figured
out how to get the 64 Bit Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Jackalope onto one of my ntfs
hard drive by using wubi to get around the ntfs-3g that was required. (I did
not have to worry about that when using the old FAT 32 hard drive.)

I really missed being able to use Ubuntu over the last 9 months, but I am
back into it now. I may be old, and I may not be able to contribute much,
but I sure enjoy reading what you guys have to say. I hope you will not mind
me being here.

Trevor E. Cowan

Hi Trevor, nice to see you came back.

Just so you are aware, you do not have to install via the WUBI installer
just to get ntfs support. The ntfs-3g components required are all installed
by default in recent releases of not only Ubuntu, but most popular Linux
distros.

Cheers.
