Printing in Gimp 2.4.5

My apologies - the solution was the scaling factor (Gimp>File>Print>Page
Setup) - preview disregards the scaling factor, wrongly in my opinion,
whereas printing uses it. Thus, I had inadvertently set scaling to .1%
instead of 100% and Preview always showed the correctly scaled to paper
size picture.
