I would highly recommend internode.  They offer a great mirror,
streaming radio and _some_ ABC content unmetered.

As for a home phone - Telstra home line budget - $20 per month and
Internode's VoIP product - nodephone for outbound calls.

I would still be using internode but I am now living in the country with
crap copper, pair gain and poorly planned cabling.  From what I know of
the area, at least half the people on my exchange can't get ADSL due to
Telstra's incompetence.
